Thinking of buying a 4 stroke again? - Possably xtx?

Hi all, I used to have a 04 Warrior that I put in a monoshock rear, and ohlins up front. It was the best trail sled, very smooth! The only thing was the weight issue. I weigh 170 and it could be a handfull to throw around in the deep stuff. I now have a 1998 700 xtc which I am thinking of...

    DC outlet

I know that artic cat has one that you can get for $12.00. The only drawback is that you will have to hard wire it. I think that the yamaha one will have a harness that you can just plug in, which would be nice. I also know that the yamaha one will be of better quality.

    WARRIOR CORNERING

You can also tighten the front limiter straps, and then set your control rods for a little more weight transfer to make up for the loss of transfer from tightening the limiters.

You could also try Pioneer Performance. They have done a good job on re-builds and re-valves for me.

    Heated Shield Question

18-20 gague wire is really thin, I would solder and shrink tape a 2-3 amp fuse in line with the posative like rx1jim had stated.

    Heated Shield Question

It shouldn't as long as there is no competed path to the circuit. When you plug in the shield it completes the circuit. I would make sure you put a fuse close to the battery in case of a short though.

    Has anyone done this???

I hate it when the obvious comes out to bite you. One time last year I went to take out my boat fishing for the first time. It has a 40 hp Tohatsu which has been very reliable. I ran it before I went out with the ear muffs on it so I knew it was running good. When I launched, there happened to...
