Thanks
It's certainly an option
I think I'll ride it a little with the stock seat and then assess
I may even try having a local upholsterer custom build a small leather covered seat cushion that I can just strap on top of the factory seat . I think about 2-3 inches boost will get my knees...
Thanks a lot
I guess I'll let them do the kit
That way it's there if I want to paly with different risers
Any other advice on what I should set it up with ??
I have read so many reports of guys modifying just about everything
It seems like a ton of money to have to fork out to mod...
Putting my money where my mouth is.
Well.......... I did it....
I just bought a new 2007 Yamaha Attak down in Maine.
I'll go pick it up sometime in the next few weeks.
I'm having them install a 2 or 3 inch riser before it leaves their shop as well as an ice ripper track.

Hey
Those Yamaha fuel tanks are quite attractive but I have no desire to hump one !
It's actually the "riderback" style I am looking for.
But as stated (I think) To get my knees below my hip level, I have to push back so far I'm then sitting on the hump in the seat.
If the hump wasn't...
Thanks
Yes, It looks like his knees are well below his hips.
If I can get that same positioning I will be more than happy.
Thanks for taking the time to input and upload a photo
It's greatly appreciated

If I misinterpreted Sasquatch's comment ...Sorry...
And yes I can let fly the nasty...
Finally !
Thank -You very much to "GRIMM" , "Sledder Steve" and "gormley flyer"
Now we're getting somewhere.
These are the positive suggestions I was looking for.
I just joined this site and based on some of the sarcastic comments I was getting at the start of this thread I was seriously...
lol
I'll spare you all from posting my measurements but I'm fairly evenly proportioned
When I sit on all Yammy's my knees wind up being raised too high which results in my legs being tucked back under
Almost like being on a REV.
Very uncomfortable
I'm not slamming the sled.
I very much...
I would love to buy a 2007 ATTAK but at 6'2'' and 210lbs i am simply to tall
My knees are up to my chin and my butt is sitting on the hard bump at the back of the seat
Then I'm arched right over like a hunch back just to reach the handle bars
Has anyone else found the same problem and...
NOT GIVING 72 HOURS NOTICE VIA FAX ??
I read on one site that you don't have to send the copy's to the US side of the Border crossing in advance and Canada customs don't care.
The problem is that by ignoring them the vehicle isn't properly "EXPORTED" via Us Customs standards.
No problem...
DEAR YAMAHA
I AM THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED WITH WHERE YOU HAVE COME IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME WITH YOUR 4 STROKES.
I would own 2 or 3 by now but there is always one thing stopping me.
THEY ARE TOO SMALL.!!
I am only 6.2'' at 210 lbs and the only Yamaha I can sit on comfortably is a touring...
