As one can expect I am not in the financial position I was a year ago, so I am trying to save a little money, so I wil pose the following questions.
1) Roughly how much to have A Arms replaced by dealer?? 1 side
2) Is it a job that a novice mechanic could do by himself? Does not look...
Yamaha and every other snowmobile company has got to rethink how they do business....If the man expcets us to snowcheck these machine so we can use them 9 mos from now, we as loyal consumers should at least have the ability to cusomize them w/more options...I don't expect to have the entire...
I currenty ride a Phazer Mtn but IM leaning towards a Nytro but basically know nothing about suspensions and such.. Why would the Timbersled only be good for the Mountains??? My assumption would be that it is to weak to handle the harder terrain...Please advise. I ride in the UP near the...
I do about 300 miles of trail riding a year..Business related stuff with rookies. The rest of my miles are all off trail, with the occasional stretch of trail getting to the powder.
Yellowknife, I currently ride an 07 Phazer Mtn. Lite and was considering an upgrade to a Nytro Mtx or a XP Summit. I ride in the UP of Michigan. I am not much of a hill climber as we don't have any all that big here. Michigan's highest point is right in my back yard but it is only 1979 ft...
I agree with you that the Phazer is enough in the relative flatlands. But a little more rip is always nice. 0 to 40 being the most important for me. I'm serioulsy considering a Nytro or something else next year. Where in the yoop do you ride?? I ride in the Skanee area (Baraga County)
VMax4,
I see you also have Phazer Mtn Lite. I'm considering upgrading to the Nytro next year.
Is it as easy to carv as the Phazer??
My style of riding is mainly boondocking in the UP.
Do some hill climbing but sick of getting stuck on the Phazer. Would like to get a little more air when...
Thanks superman...I see camoplast has a freeride track, but 1.5 is the only option. i would prefer to stick with 2"..Maybe something else will be out by next year
Over half of my lugs on both edges of my track are gone. I ride in decent conditions in the UP of MI. 90% in powder. I wonder if the edges are gone from hitting the bank when I have to drive a little ways on plowed logging roads? Anyway does anybody have any recommendations for a replacement...
Anyone else having a problem with plugs? I'm afraid to put my sled in the garage once i take it off the truck unless I take it for a quick ride, otherwise they will foul. Is this normal???
stance varies from 37.5 to 39.5"..factory has them set in middle at 38.5..I tried the wider stance and found much more difficult to carve in the powder. back to factory setting, anxious to try 37.5
