    Poor handling

Check the limiter straps, Max length is about one inch from the plate where the jam nut goes to the end of the threaded rod, my transfer rods are on the third line showing from the top but you might want to go to the fourth line if you're a heavier guy. Try starting there.

    painted grizz

The paint holds up really good. I have had mine for about 3 months now and have done a few bad bush trails. you can't really see scratches because of the brushed clear paint. they all blend in together.

    Exhaust Flame kit

I thought about doing this also just for the hell of it, at a car show I saw a guy with sidepipes shoot flames from it, spark plugs with propane, I do believe there would be room, haven't quite put to much thought into how to get spark to the spark plugs, any thoughts

2006 Yamaha Demo - What was your favorite sled to ride?

I second that a 136 RTX would be the ultimate sled, if Yamaha wants to hear what us consumers want I hope your listening, I hope they go away from the mono, sounds like too many breakage problems if you ride hard

2006 Yamaha Demo - What was your favorite sled to ride?

This was the first time I have ever gone to a demo ride, it was a lot of fun seeing the differences between the sleds, it was ideal conditions for bump testing these sleds, I have to say I was impressed with the Pro-active skid in the apex, had a hard time bottoming it out, I could bottom the...

    exhaust removal

I have a stock exhaust system if you're interested, you have to take the seat off, and it's easier if you take the top rear suspension bolts out in order to get more room for your hands to loosen the exhaust clamps

Anyone install a wide front end kit?

The kit works great, ski lift is reduced, springs make front end soak up bumps better, feels plusher without the body roll. Can fit on a two place side by side but you are on top of the other ski.

    Wide Body Kit

Go with the pioneer kit if you want to widen the front end.

    108mph??

SRX's are fast sleds, there's no question, if your sled is stock it sounds about right, with some clutch work, a rip saw track and if you want better acceleration a 136 is the only way to go.

    Increase ski lift

you want to move those nuts up so you don't see anymore lines , this will give you more transfer, also see what your limiter straps are set at, you might have way too much ski pressure

Cracked "W" arm in the rear skid

On all 3 of my Yamaha's I have cracked the W arms, just cracked my RX-1 this weekend, had 3000 miles on it before the ride all the welds looked fine, thought hey this one might last, WRONG, after about 700 miles into our 1000 mile 5 day trip it broke 20 miles out of big bay, had to get it welded...
