I'm running an 03 shorty with ECP and Clutching to match. I am running 10,0rpm to 10,2 on a long haul. I'm getting 108mph on a gun. I used some clutching advice from this site on my girlfriends 99 SRX and she's also running 108mph in the same distance same conditions. Between the sled and me I'm giving up 310lbs. Should we be this close or should I be looking for more? And if I'm looking for more where? #$%&*

SRX's are fast sleds, there's no question, if your sled is stock it sounds about right, with some clutch work, a rip saw track and if you want better acceleration a 136 is the only way to go.

You failed to say how far you were running and on what, ice, snow,or combo of ice and hard snow,i had the 03 shorty with freddies air kit and h.h. clutching and would run 115-117 on the gun on hard ice/snow in 2500-3000 ft.

Pretty sure it was about 2000'. I'm going to lighten up the tips of the weights and see if I can't get some more. I know that longer runs I can out run her and my buds ZR9. usually by 4-5 mph. I didn't feel too bad. One of the guys there had a 00 MachZ he just dyno'd @ 184hp and he only ran 113mph. He was pissed cause all we've been hearing is that he can run 120-122 ant time anywhere. He also has me beat it the weight department by about 100lbs sled and rider.
