I have a 2016 Viper with 8K miles on it. Starting pre-season prep and was thinking about changing spark plugs. Thoughts on should I change the plugs? Sled starts and runs fine. If I do change them what plugs do you recommend to replace them with?
Thanks
I have about 7800 on my Viper, and should have over 8K by the end of the season. Looking to to do some maintenance over the summer. What are the recommended ware parts to look for and how do you get the chain lube back into the chain case?
Agreed you should always be careful accelerating on concrete and asphalt. With 2 studs per block in a V pattern in the center of the track have not been an issue for my last 3 sleds. Current machine with 7800 miles no issues. Adding studs to the outside edges of the track is where you begin to...
Thanks for the insight but I pulled the skid. I know from past maintenance sessions that would be the less frustrating process to get the shocks out. Also gives me chance to check all iddler wheel bearings as well. Turns out there is one that needs replacing. You are right this an awsome site...
When I push down on the rear of the sled the rear skid compresses all the way to the stops and does not rebound. After time it will spring back very slowly. When I sit on the sled the same thing happens. The machine has 7K miles on the original springs and shocks. The torsion spring is set to...
Hi all....I have a boggie wheel on the rear shock shaft on my 2016 LTX SE that I need to replace. Looking for some tips to replace without removing the skid. Any thoughts or insight would be awsome!!
PA looks like that is the issue with fluid in the piston boot. Made sure the boot was seated back on the piston properly last night and checked it tonight no fluid that I can see now. Even after pumping the brake several times. Now bleeding the brake would be my next step here.
Anybody have a...
Just changed out my stock brake lever with the Skinz short heated brake lever. The installation sheet notes to not let the piston come out of the lever assembly. I thought I did that but I must have let the piston slide out enough to cause a leak. Once I installed the new lever the piston began...
Made the brake lever swap out with Skinz short heated lever. But I guess I did not keep enough pressure on the brake piston. Now it is leaking and no brake line pressure. What do I need to do now to fix this?
Guys sorry for the late reply have been working and playing in the snow. So 2 weeks ago went on a trip by sled from Tomahawk WI to Lake Gogebic. Spent 2 days in the UP racking up miles and then hit the trail back to Tomahawk a day later. All in all put about 700 miles on the sled. I did not...
