great idea!Mine hadn't worn the mounting holes so I staked them with a centre punch so they can't loosen.

How many miles did you have on your sled when the pads let loose?

I have about 7800 on my Viper, and should have over 8K by the end of the season. Looking to to do some maintenance over the summer. What are the recommended ware parts to look for and how do you get the chain lube back into the chain case?

Definitely look up Travis at barn of parts and look into the brass shift fork pads, I believe he may have a upgraded gear as well? chaincase oil is refilled thru reverse actuator hole.

Thanks for the info. Everything is working fine but do not want to have any issues as I need to keep this sled for another season or 2.Definitely look up Travis at barn of parts and look into the brass shift fork pads, I believe he may have a upgraded gear as well? chaincase oil is refilled thru reverse actuator hole.
