I was looking at packs last year and stumbled upon True Adventure Gear its made by snowmobilers for snowmobilers...They look into the little things that truly benefit snowmobilers. Not to mention I picked mine up at Haydays last year got a steal of a deal somewhere around 40% off list price...
I have a Hauck GHT-R-DUN exhaust; I "stole" it off eBay last year. But I will be honest its loud; it sounds similar to a street bike. I do not ride trails so I am not to worried about sound regs. I think that they are still available on haucks website. I couldn't be any happier with the exhaust!
I was as stud person but I switched to a 136"x 1.5" camoplast intense track and wont ever go back!! My buddy has the 136"x 1.5" ripsaw and he wishes he would have went with the intense. My uncle also as an SRX with the Ice Ripper track - He hates it! All it does is spin and leave marks in the...
I just picked up a set of SLYDOG Powderhounds for my 06 Nytro. I was wondering about the carbides. Do you have to buy a new set or will the ones off my factory skis work?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the info... I am pretty sure its just a re-location axel. Its just a straight axel its not "off-set" if you will. I understand the concept of centering your wheels and how they should even with rails. However, by the way the Yamaha guy was talking it sounds like it would work with...
I purchased a set of 8" billet wheels with and axel off of an apex at haydays this year; so i would be running two wheels on the inside. I talked to the service guy at the yamaha tent and he said it should bolt right up and there should be no problems... I also talked to mountain machine...
I just put a 136 extension kit on my 06 nytro. I used these two sites as a reference. It was a pretty simple process they only thing i can say is there are two set screws on the back side of the drive bearing make sure you loosen those before trying to take the bearing off. Good luck hope this...
I was looking to do the same thing but decided to keep it and stretch it out insted... the dealer in atlantic iowa offered me $4400 for mine. it does have an aftermarket exhaust, risers and right at 2000 miles... hope this helps..
I know there has to be a step by step guide on here some where explaining in detail the process of changing the rs nytro track. If any one could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!!
I just bought a 136" camoplast intense track for my 06 nytro... Now I was wondering which extension kit to go with. I need a set of rail extensions and the tunnel extension. I have been looking at the Hartman inc. kits also the tracks usa kit. Any suggestions??
After doing all that work maybe you can help me.. Are you still using the factory header pipe? Do you happen to know the Diameter of the header pipe? I haven't got to in-depth yet but i have felt and looked up underneath there and it looks to be and oval shaped header pipe? I have an 06 nytro...
I was also wondering this same thing... I have an R6 with a D&D slip-on and i love the way that pipe sounds... I was going to try and fab something up and see if I could get that exhaust on the sled. I know Bonell Nytro has posed something on here about that a while back. He had an excell...
According to the FIX guys it is supposed to add 3-5 HP which isn't a ton but I was also looking at it to see if it would help the sled sound as tuff as it looks. They are based out of MN so I know it would work down here at 500-1000 ft but i was wondering how it would perform on top of the...
I ride a 06 nytro and was looking into buying one of these kits. I don't ride much in the Mid-West I go out west a-lot and was wondering how well they work out there. Are they worth the money? Do they enhance the sound at all?
Do you happen to know the diameter of the stock header? OR what did you use to connect the header to the bike-exhaust? I would be using a D&D exhuast off an r6 and I believe the pipe that connects my exhaust to my header is 2"(thats on the motorcycle)....Thanks...
