I have the 76CSx and Sledzeppelin in correct. I love it and I also use it on my boat. I run it with a 2 gig chip and it stores all the maps I could ever put in it. It has held up extremely well and it has seen alot of action. I hope this helps.
Is it the female side that is loose or just the male side of the plug? You could tighten the fit of both and then use a Y-plug or 3 way plug. I run my GPS and heated shield without a problem.
Phazernut- You won't have any problem with drilling and tapping. I would try to offset the mount so it is not above the riser pad. You don't want to hit it or have it take a hit during a roll.
35 going on 18. Just picked up an 06 left over and sold my formula Z. I plan on putting the first mile on it today. I am new to sleds so I am sure you will see me asking plenty of questions so thanks in advance.
Have you checked the drive belt for flat spots. If you are new to this sport and were holding the brake while reving the motor enough to enguage the clutch then it will burn the belt enough to cause a flat "ie Narrow spot" in the drive belt and it will feel and sound like it is the track ratcheting
