so , im checking over my track and suspension today after yesterdays ride and I notice that the front idler wheels do not even come in contact with the track ( about 3/16 clearance) . Shouldn't they contact the tract in order to be of any benefit? Is this why the sliders wear so quickly at that...

are you sure they are actually cracks or just casting marks? I had a similar thing on my 05 kodiak and they turned out to be nothing.

had a strange thing happen today. loading the gt on the truck ,it spun out so i put it in reverse and when i tried to back up ,the whole suspension seemed to collapse. I went around behind the sled ,picked up the back end and it popped back into place like nothing happened. I looked it over...
