I extended mine to a 136" and took it to the mountains 5-15ft of snow, you had to be careful and on the gas lots but it did do okay. If I could go back in time I would have bought the MTX for sure, we get 2-3ft at home per year
Check out our custom plate, I some how lost the belly pan in the mountains so we made this up out of crazy carpet, I now have a yamaha factory skid plate on it works well but the mounting brackets it came with suck so I bought some stuff at the hardware store and mounted that way.
No I didn't change them just softened the suspension and increased rebound but in my mind any amount of extra width would have helped.
Did you install different drivers with the 1.75"?
I put only a 2" and had to reroute but not extend my throttle cable. When I turned hard to the right the engine light would come on and the machine low idles, Luckly this happened when I was riding with my dealer and he told what it was. Thank goodness cause I thought it was a fuel issue
