riser and cables

Does anyone know how much of a riser you can put on a Nytro short track, without longer cables?

The standard Nytro and the Nytro MTX have the same length cables. The MTX comes with a six inch riser!!

I have 5" fly riser with there bars bolted right on no problems or changes might switch to 7" riser should work fine also

I put a 2.5 inch riser with no problems

if the nytro and mtx use the same cables you can fit 8" fine, thats what i have. i was told for a 10 i would need to start extending lines.

I put only a 2" and had to reroute but not extend my throttle cable. When I turned hard to the right the engine light would come on and the machine low idles, Luckly this happened when I was riding with my dealer and he told what it was. Thank goodness cause I thought it was a fuel issue

that happens when the slack is adjusted out of cable must have a little play in throttle lever
