Something is wacked as even with stock clutching a good running rx-1 should be pulling close to 10,000 rpm,s. Try
new plugs
check clutch components
Kinda tuff to diagnose an apperently good running sled over the internet but you got something funky going on.

BUT THE RX SEEMS A LITTLE LOOSE IN THE REAR I KINDA THOUGHT IT WAS ALL THE POWER. WHATS THE NORM ON PLUG CHANGES FOR THESE MACHINES? IM GOING BACK UP NORTH THIS WEEKEND AND I WILL CHANGE THE PLUGS AND GATHER ALL INFO ON CLUTCHING AS FAR AS SPRINGS AND WHAT NOT. I WILL ALSO SWAP PLUGS AND CHECK SKID SETTINGS.

Don,t worry about skid settings. we have to figure out why your only getting 9k rpm,s. Suspension won,t do that.

How confident are you that your carbs are cleaned or did not get dirtied up after you cleaned them? You should be hitting 10,200 RPMs, dropping back slightly at hookup and then run back out to 10,200. I have found that if I can't hit at least 10,200 it typically is the carbs. Also, I had to clean mine 3 times and clean the fuel tank and lines, this year, to get things back to normal.
Also, if you have not changed the Secondary Spring, that too will drag down your shift RPMs over time. These springs only last one or two seasons, at best. When you change the spring, inspect the center bushings and sliders on the secondary. Also, check your belt height adjustment.
On the Primary, remove the rollers and check the bushings. Also check the bushings in the weights. Inspect the weights' contact-to-roller surface for abnormal wear. Clean the Primary thoroughly. Inspect the Primary's sliders for excessive wear or scuffing in the towers.
After you make the above inspections, if you still do not see 10,200, then go back and clean the carbs. I attached a File on Carb Cleaning.

What kind of top speed numbers are you guys getting on these sleds. I just did a few runs on the lake with my 04 Rx-warrior and was getting between 103-106mph. on radar. Is that normal for the warrior or should I be getting better numbers?

I have an 04 Warrior and that sounds about right! The best I've seen was 124 on the Dream Meter!

Someone could have ground a tooth or two off the Speedometer's gear. This will bring the Dreammeter down closer to reality. If you are seeing a low top end on the Dreammeter, take a look at the gear first. Two teeth will actually take the meter slightly lower than actual.
Also, I think the Warriors were geared down one tooth on the upper gear. So, your top end will not be the same as a shorty.
But, if you see that you are not able to make and keep > 10,000 RPM, (Ideally 10,200 at launch, 9950-10,000 at hook up and then back up to 10,200) then you may need to clean the carbs or look into the clutching.

My '03 Rx-1 M doesn't seem to have the same speed as she did last year. I don't get the same thrill when riding on the trail this year as I did last year. She works and sounds perfect but I don't know why she doesn't seem to be as fast.I had about 3 quarter throttle and only somewhere around 150 km/h give or take.

Did you clean the carbs this year?
