TY 4 Stroke Master
I am needing to replace the front end bushing in my 03 RX1. Was hoping to go with the oilite bushings but it looks like they only fit the 04 and up. What is different with the 03 compared to the others. Can I change some stuff on my 03 to accept the bushings.

Just did a cross reference comparing the 03 rx1 to the 04.
The oem spindle assembly is the same
The lower a arm is the same
The upper a arm is the same except for one is an 8FA and the other is 8FG. What go the A and G designate mean. I know on my wifes attack the upper a arm is aluminum and on my 03 rx1 it is steel. is that it?
The upper spindle/a arm collar is the same but the bolt is different. Not sure why that is. everything including the spindle is the same but the bolt???
The upper inner a arm is different as well as the 03 has a collar and different bolt. The 04 just has a bolt.
The lower a arm is the same but the 03 has a collar and different bolt on the inner mount but the a arm bushings are the same. The 04 just has a bolt.
Bulkhead upper and lower bushings are the same.
To help simplify things, everything is the same in the front end except the upper a arm, the upper a arm bushings and the upper a arm inner and outer mounting bolts.
Could I just change out the upper a arm inner and outer mounting bolts and use the ulmer bushing kit, or would I also have to change the upper a arm because of a tube wall thickness difference of the aluminum vs the steel.
