My 03 runs around 180 degrees. I have seen over 200 degrees on a few trails with low snow. It sure is nice to have gauge to keep a eye on the temps. Hope this helps.

It should read between 160-185 degree F anything over is bad for engine.A faulty thermostat could cause seruious overheating or overcooling.

i switched from regular anti freeze to Engone Ice and saw a difference in how fast my sled cooled off when it got hot versus when it had regular anti freeze. Engine Ice made the sled run slightly cooler as well. i used it first on my dragbike and tried it on my sled..works great
