03 RX1 reverse

Guys, I have seen a few posts on sleds popping out of reverse and mine was doin the same thing this season. I took some time yesterday to check out and found the linkage settings to be spot on top and side then found the lower nut on the shaft that transfers from Handle mechanism to lower linkage point to be loose. Tighned up and now she moves in reverse, test 3 or 4 times and remains good. Amazing because everthing looked to be moving fine and nut wasn't to loose.

Great tip. Exact same thing happened to me when my sled was two years old. As part of your annual maintenance folks should include checking linkage adjustment AND nut tightness.
