Does anyone have pictures or video of how to adjust the reverse linkage on Apex GT? I've seen many posts on how to do it, but no pics or videos. If anyone has visuals that they care to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

STUCK WITH GRINDING IN REVERSE AND POPPING BACK INTO FORWARD GEAR. Not a pleasant sound.

Thanks!

Indy: I'm sure guys will chime in with pics, but for now, check the L shaped pivot arm (#31) that is mounted to the left side of the chaincase. It has a bolt/nut that could have come loose and created slack in the linkage system. Sometimes tightening this pivot arm gets overlooked when re-assembling the chaincase.
The quick answer on the adjustment of the gap between each set of Hime joints, (35+36) it to adjust so they measure 27mm between the ends of the hime joint (aluminum cast housing).

Also, check the tension on the chain. I just had this issue and loosened the tensioner just slightly and no more issues!

I have had trouble like you with reverse popping out and found #32 bushing in the diagram gets worn and makes it very difficult to get adjusted just right . If you find the bushing loose replace it or see if you can tighten it so adjustment can be set closer as these need to be fairly spot on.
