04 seats

I paid over $100 to have more foam put in my 03 seat, and at Hastings today they had new 04 seats for $100.

The 04 was such an improvement over my 03 that I almost didn't buy a Boss seat from Matt. I purchased the Boss mainly for weight savings. Once I finally got the Boss I wasn't happy with how it needed to be installed and was also concerned with how hard it was. I ended up trading it for an 05.
If I could go back in time, I would have saved the $450 and stayed with my 04. Now I have 2 seats, I still need to figure a way to install the 04 on my Garden Tractor 8)

Mighty wants a sled seat on the tractor so during the summer it will seem like he is really riding the sled. Now thats thinkin'.

The 04 seats are only slightly better than the 03 seats.. However the 05 seats are WAY SOFTER!! I compared them at the snowshow!

I want very much to improve the seating position and ride of my 03 RX-1 Mountain. I have toyed with adding foam to the stock seat or ordering an 05 from my dealer. He said he would give me a heck of deal on an 05 seat ($275).

Is this the way to go? It is WAY cheaper than a Boss seat!
What do I do with my 03 seat besides putting it on my lawn tractor? Is there any market for an 03 seat? I assume the blue on the 05 seat is the same hue as the 03 seat? Thanks for the help.

Just buy the 05 seat... that's a heck of a price (all those guys that bought the Bosses are going to be pissed because of this price, and it just bolts right on too).

Frostbite can your dealer ship me one? Can you give me the info? I would like an 05 seat but my dealer wants 400 bucks. My 03 is in perfect shape but I am a big guy and it will bottom out.

$275.00 for an 05 is a damn good price :shock: $450.00 was the Boss price. I do however believe a mountain guy would prefer the Boss because it's so hard you can kneel on it.

I went ahead and ordered the 05 seat. Hey, if I don't like it I'll pass on my savings to one of you guys.
I'll have a blue 03 seat for sale shortly if you know anyone who needs one.
