Hi fellas and ladies, I have a 04 warrior, and the check engine light is on and the warning light is on steady and does not blink. Trying to clear the codes or figure out what is wrong but hitting a brick wall with the Yamaha manual. The only 2 wires I have left not hooked up at the handlebar is a blk and a yellow with a red stripe. I attached a pic for reference. Any help would be great.

Sorry have been busy, do you still need help with your wiring?

Hey @ Brotherdan, thanks, could still use the help. Almost done trying to restore this tank! If I had a pic of an rx1/warrior handlebars with wires I could probably follow it with no problem. The book gets to be hard to follow at times. My other harness burned up! Any help would be great.

Ok im not home but

Hi Dan, thanks for the pics!!! I see the one yellow wire with red stripe goes into the blk. I have to figure out the feed power wire which I am going to steal from the high beam wire and then find a ground. I will have to look at these closer on my pc as the phone makes it harder to follow. Where is your feed wire for the power coming from?

Sorry the pics came out so bad, also its been awhile so excuse my mistake on the yellow/red wire, that is your power wire, see attached

Thanks brotherdan, I have no power off the yellow wire with the red stripe.... I am not sure where to begin to look at why it is not giving me any. I was told to go off my high beam wire for the headlight? I tried to zoom in on the pics here on my laptop but I might have to download them first. Hard to see on the phone as it's so small. I will see what happens. Hoping my throttle cable comes in tomorrow and I can at least drive it and see how it runs.

Thanks for the above help. I was able to finally get the hand warmers going, they needed the ground to complete the circuit! I am though having troubles with them and controlling the heat, got pretty warm and would not stay at the temp I set them at. Everytime I rode it got hot then popped a fuse. A good voltage regulator was put in and still gave me the warning light on the dash and check engine light.
