'05 350 Bruin 4x4 Clutch Cover Gasket?

I removed the clutch cover today on my 05 350 Bruin to inspect the belt. I noticed there was no gasket on the clutch cover. Anyone know if there should be a gasket. I don't see one in the online micro fiche parts list or in my service manual but I did notice one on ebay. I bought the bike a few years ago used and this is the 1rst time I pulled the clutch cover.

I think there is rubber inset in the cover...
