I just read a couple of posts of pretty high mile 05's with no problems (thanks Yami!). But I also recall reading about a number of people with broken parts in the rear suspension.
Just wondering if you guys feel it's more a result of ditchbanging, undersprung rears or just plain bad design of the pro-action ck?
I just removed the Vector from the poll as I was mistaken that they used the same suspension.
Feel free to list mileage for those with and without issues.
Only 500 miles on my 05 and still perfect.

the rage has the proaction, w /the fragile w arm, I think the vector has the mono....2 different susp.
The 136, rage, pro action spreads the hits out over a larger track/ susp. rail so I don't believe it is as prone to breaking as the 121.

The 05 Vector has the Proactive not the proaction skid
Does the pro active use the same or similar w arm?
I had to reinforce the one on my viper after it cracked.
I stand corrected on the 05 vector having the mono.

I cast a broke vote... mine did not actually break but had some cracks in it before last season.
I welded the cracks but did not add any gussets or re-inforcement. It was fine on my preseason check up this year after 3000 miles last season. I attribute the cracks to a set of shocks that was in need of re-building/replacement.

the W arm breakin on a proaction skid is a subject that has been beaten to death. W arm was a bad design and cracks cause of the force put on it from the limiters straps being wraped down then around the cross member. i say on average 50% of proactions out there have broken the W arm.
Alot of these topics are beaten to death, almost as common as NEW members to this site.

To be honest, I don't know how many people on this site are casual riders? I'd bet that more often than not we have people that are a quite a bit harder on their sleds than "mom and pop."
That was my hope...to see that if only 1/2 of the hard core people have broken a W-Arm, I'd think that 90% of the purchasers (overall) have intact arms.

I am a Pop rider that watches riders pound past me on the bumpy trail and wonder what the repair bill will cost when they get home.
