this maybe a silly question but I'm fairly new to sled mods what I did is drop my rear skid mounting brackets 1" lower Now it seems my track ajustment are about maxed out. Do I need to do something else to make this work right or just put it back to stock location? any help would be great

Thank You :rocks:

I can't help wonder why you lowered the skid an inch? This affects the center of gravity as well as the track fit. This could impact the sled's handling significantly. If there is some adjustment left, live with it. The tracks typically do not stretch much after they are broke in, until they are ready to fail. But, you could possibly put on some larger diameter drivers, too. How may miles do you have on the track? They only last about 6-7K miles.

rear skid

sorry I didn't explain in full I only lowered the very rear brackets not the whole skid the back not the front of the skid. I only did this for some extra lift in the rear of the sled I know this doesn't give me anymore travel. I have seen companies that make & sell these lowering brackets I think it's for extra room for bigger paddle tracks but I'm not sure on that I just wanted the back of the sled lifted alittle. this may not be the propper way to do this just thought I would give it a shot. Thank you for your help

If you lowered the rear of the skid, this will greatly increase ski pressure. You could be in for some really unpredictable handling, let alone a hard time turning the skis, etc.
