Helped a friend of mine change his oil a couple of days ago. All of his bearings in his suspension wheels are shot. Do they have changable bearings in the 05 like the 04 or do you have to buy the entire wheel like the RS Venture.

Bearings in wheels in 05 model suspensions are not replaceable. You'll have to buy new wheels.

That's almost criminal Yamaha making you change the entire wheel for a $4 bearing. Are there replacement wheels with removable bearings if so who sells them ???

On my 04 Rx-1, all but the two outer rear axle bearings are replaceabe. Maybe the 04 wheels would fit? Also, all of my wheels have rubber contact surfaces and have seen 5K miles and are still in good shape.
I did replace the two rear axle outer wheels. YES covered them for bad bearngs, which are not replaceable.
The rest of the bearings in the wheels went to heck or needed repacking between 4K and 5K miles. The rear inner idlers were frozen solid and not spinning at 5K miles. Had to trash them. Could not repack them.
About repacking, ... I have not yet put any miles on repacked bearings. I thought I would give it a try on a few and see what happens.

You can use idler wheels from the SRX 700, replacing of bearings can be done on all SRX idler wheels. I did this on the rear outer idler wheels on my '03 RX-1, the bearings were molded into the wheel, went with SRX wheels, problem solved. SRX wheels including bearing and clip are a lot cheaper than the RX-1 wheels with bearing molded into place.
