By Saturday? Well break out the credit card and call ulmers for a clutch kit and studs and get them overnighted or you might try cleaning the clutch and check and or replace your belt .make sure your transfer rods are adjusted up so more weight goes towards back but doing this will take away from handleing . You might have weak springs in your clutches you should replace them just because from what I hear their cheap .also replace plugs if you don't know how old they are .also clean and check your coils to make sure they are not arching all over the place. Hope this helps
Thanks, I hear a lot of good things about Ulmer, so I will go with them. I will update you on Sunday on the results.

I ride with a guy whose 600 SDI ran 108 on GPS, that is pretty nice for that sled. Quick little motor, unfortunately when I race him, it looks like he is going backwards lol.

What are you doing with your clutching and gearing to beat him so bad? Please give me your setup so I can try it. By the way, is your engine and exhaust stock?

hes got an attak and youve got an rx1, little difference there. check sled dogs modification under mods section, had no problem beating an rx1 with my apex mtn even when it was clutched and geared for the mtns but once sled dog tinkered with the clutching and air/fuel he very well could have beat me in the long run since i was bone stock, was a cheap and inexpensive mod for him that made a big difference which is why its such a popular thread

Engine and exhaust are all stock, as far as clutching, I bought the sled this summer expecting all stock clutching as well, but I don't the sled pulls SO hard in the midrange (and we own 2 more stock attak/apexes) that I think the guy I bought it from had a little clutching setup. Maybe just weights Helixes and springs look the same, don't know how to check weights. Truth be told neither of us are racers and sleds aren't setup for that, but if I had to guess in 1000' he was 8-10 lengths behind me AND I was behind at 300' because my skis came up and I almost went into the pickers of the railroad bed, but when I got going to was completely left. Top end I bet this would be close. Where is your transfer rod set at? Other than that I don't know enough to be much help.
