how do i remove and install new starter on 05 vector er? please any info is valuble for me.

TY member "Old Thumper" just replaced a starter and sent this PM to me,
"Just removing the front mounts, and loosening the rear mount DOES allow sufficient clearance to remove/install the starter. The oil filter has to be removed, but all other plumbing and electrical engine connections can remain intact. I unbolted the muffler so that the exhaust can move, but left the header flex pipes attached."
You may want to talk to him directly.

that is good advice. I took my engine out to do it.

i just took the starter out of a 2008 venture.Engine is 9/10's out.Could not find a way to squeeze the starter out without doing this.
