Can anybody tell me where I can find a wire that is powered when the sled is running? I need to tap into somewhere for the light on my Ritchie compass.
I couldn't find a source in the wires that go to the inst cluster and lights. The headlights have two wires (yellow and green), one is for low beams and the other for high. I could tap into both but I'd really rather not mess with the h/lights.
Any help is appreciated!

This is an unused pair of wires with a connector for an accessory 12V outlet.
It is located on the brake side, behind where a key would be if mounted on this side of the sled.
Try searching this forum, there was a picture posted last season of the wires and connector.

I have the 12v access outlet on my sled. I can tap into it there. Thanks for the help!
Obviously, Undecided wanted more like a hook on the hood side...... If its like my RS Venture (which probably is) you can tap in the run that goes to the instrument panel.... I did so. This is the line that power the whole panel.. the L/R(blue/red) is the +12 and the CH(chocolate) is the return. I have tapped two 2 position connectors in series with a fuse to power two more guages. Look in your owner's manual for the electrical schematic.
