I got to ride an 05 Vector Mountain this weekend at Revelstoke. It handled great but I wasn't too impressed with the power. But too be fair I had just climbed the hill several times with my RX and it's not a fair comparison. I think the clutch on the Vector needs tuning. It handles so lightly compared to my RX and we still are buying one in the fall.

I didn't ride it for more than about 10 minutes. A couple of burps up the hill and a few spins around the valley, but it felt overall light and handled great, good weight transfer etc. It was just my feeling, which my buds disagreed with that the track wasn't hooking up the same as my RX. It felt a bit loose, but the engine feels different too. Not the same power as an RX, but I think if I was to buy a fun machine, I'd buy the Vector over the RX. Actually, we are. My wife ordered one. I hope she lets me ride it once in a while.
I have to recover from 3 days of wresting my RX 1-ton pig. After this weekend, it's definitely time to think about weight loss over the summer.
Great site guys.

Oh yeah, your question.......
The Vector was nicer handling than I expected. Very good seat and handlebar position. Really nice and easy to transition from sitting to standing and we all noticed the wider floorboards. Nice.
I didn't obviously get a chance to pound on it much but nothing about the skid grabbed my attention either good or bad. It just feels a whole lot easier to throw around than my RX.

I also rode it in Whistler It handled Nice
I also rode it in Whistler It handled Nice but I agree that as stock it needs more grunt but with turbo this is a good sled possibly better than rx1.
to be fair on the power side the sled was brand new & not broke in yet
and it saw 2k of dirt before it even saw snow that day. regardless all that rode it that day seemed fairly impressed in seeing various reactions to the sled.
