im getting the handlebars changed on my 06 apex finally and the dealer is charging me 30 for the bars and 30 for labor and he will not give back the 06 bars, nor will he just sell me the 07 bars. Is this how your dealers were if they changed yours?

I think you should be able to get them yourself and install them yourself if you want. And i'm pretty sure you are allowed to have your old 06 bars back, becasue they are yours still since you had to pay for the 07 bars. I know this becasue lots of people were selling the 06 bars to people that have SRX's and vipers'c etc.

I'd tell your dealer to get lost. Them bars are yours...period. I think Tom ( Mr Sled ) has some updated bar for sale. I'd ask him if he still has any and do the install yourself. It's very, very simple.
