I know this has been talked about but i wanted to see what you think for me this year.....
I have a 06 apex gt with updated 07 bars and with yamaheaters, on warmer days works just fine, on cold days last year and this year 10 and below my hands freeze, i also have the yamaha windshear handgurds.....I do feel some heat coming off the bars with gloves off but none through gloves on cold days,
I have tried many gloves, i am now wearing Klim thinner gloves witch are alot better than thick ones that i have tried, but still cold hands..
I have gone through all wiring on grips and yamaheater many times double checking, everything looks good and yamaheater led works properly with controls....
I think i want to go back to original 06 bars and remove yamaheater and wire in series, i have heard this works good, but dont want to damage sled...I think early Nytro,s had the same bars as 06 apex too....
Any help would be greatly appreciated......Thanks again.....

Give Rockmeister a call. He is a great guy with excellent customer service and he will take care of you. He has a "boost module" available now that will improve the Yamaheater output. That might be all that you need.
Obviously lack of wind protection is also a major contributing factor for cold hands. I put extension flares on my PowerMadd handguards and I have the gauntlets for when it is extremely cold.
