I was riding up in old forge ny recently and there is a section along rt 28 through town that is 10mph limit. It was real rough, lots of frozen short chops, riding along the sidewalk and across driveways. It is never groomed, likely to keep the speed down around the houses. While I was riding across this section there was a steady loud clunking from the rear skid when I was going over the bumps at a low rate of speed. Once I got out on the trails and was riding normally the sled performed and handled great, no clunking or suspension noise. I am assuming the clunking was the transfer rod in the rear skid. Is this something to be concerned about? Will riding in these conditions damage the skid/transfer rod?? Should I be thinking about an adjustment? My gut tells me no based on the excellent performance of the sled in normal trail riding conditions but I am open to suggestions. Any input? Thanks. :rocks:

It is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

Its the transfer rod banging as it extends all the way to the end and bottoms out.
