Hello everyone, new to this site.
I have an 06 Apex attack with about 12000K on it that periodically wont start, Good battery, good fuel, fuel pump cycles and returns fuel. When you try and start it show engine and constant flashing yellow light if keep trying it will eventually just start like nothing happen. Checked grounds, and all the wiring when it wont start it has no spark and not firing injectors. Down to thinking the ECU but looking for more input as this is and expensive fix!
Any help would be appreciated

when this happens, grab the code:
1-Hold down the "select" and "reset" buttons together.
2-Turn on the Ign., and continue to hold until "diag" is displayed.
3-Release both buttons, then depress them both again until the display changes to a Number.
4-using either "select" or "reset" scroll untill you see #60. There should be a small number below it. (error code)make note of number.
5-now scrol to#64, and again a small number is displayed below it. This is the error log(counter)
5- If it is not "zero" press the "gripwarmer button to return to zero.
6-Shut the Ign. off, wait...., then back on again. If the Condition that caused the error is no longer present, no codes will be displayed.

Did Diagnostic, this is what I get
Go through procedure scroll to number 60, no small number below only 00 at the bottom of lower display, no number 64 jumps right to 70

ok, so there are no codes. I wonder if there is a bad sensor or sensor wiring somewhere? I dont think I would jump straight to replacing the ECU.
When this first started happening, did you do any service or anything to the sled?
EDIT: btw, can you fill in your location on your profile? Site requirement. Im guessin Canada!

Replaced upper handlebar bushings, seemed to happen right after that, checked all the wiring and plugs even ope it up ere I could see a little damage to number 2 cylinder. repaired it all with heat shrinks installed, could not see a problem wit the cam sensor wiring unless there is something I am missing??

Keep checking wiring but almost positive its not the problem, just tried it again now engine picture is gone and no flashing yellow warning light. As before still wont start, turns over really well but seems to periodically fire and stop the starter. Did this before finally started and just sat there idling no smoke no nothing so I doubt if it was flooded.
Has new CK plugs, and when it is running runs normal and idles just fine! Is it possible that its is Cylinder ID sensor or possibly the stator but either would throw codes I would assume?

Does the fuel pump relay click when you turn the key to pump position?

Fuel pump cycles and returns fuel to tank.

Didn't realize there was a third ground block in the nose of the sled down by the ECU, found it today was definitely corroded to the point that it was no longer fully functioning. I will let you know if this was the problem but I am almost positive it was. Will let you know after I test drive it.
