I've got my big one on it and set to engine start. The battery is so dead the second I take the cables off the battery the sled dies.
I'm going to get a new battery and a new set of CR10EK plugs.

Well that's exactly your problem. The sled won't run off a charger. Put a new battery in it and it will start

Since you need a new battery you may want to consider upgrading to a YTX20H-BS which has more power and will fit perfectly without using the foam spacers.
