Just bought an '06 Attak (8800 miles)last week, tore it down to find an exhaust leak. Left mid pipe is missing 1/2 of the flared end. Dealer says part is on backorder. Does anyone have any used parts to sell or other ideas for a fix? Tried to get a used one from dealer that was replaced so I could get a good end to weld on but he claims he sends them back to Yamaha for warranty. Thanks.

I have the part they are very hard to find is left or right I checked for a guy the both sides where around 970.00 this was gaskets clamps & bolts I just pulled a apex engine let know what side by pm and we can talk price kim

I've got a left hand mid or Y pipe that has about 300 miles on it. Basically brand new. It's the ti ones used on the 06' and 07' models. I had to order it a few years back used it for the weekend and then took the sled in for warranty so like I said it's only got a weekend worth of miles on it. Since the Stainless ones came out everyone has been usinig those since they are cheaper. Let me know if interested. Also you will want to replace all four of your dounuts. Since the sled is used you may also want to get new clamps just so you know they are new and haven't been ground two or three times. If they look untouched then you may want to save the money, either way check the whole exhaust system over. Remove the header pipes as well and inspect the flex section for cracking or breakage.

Thanks for all your replies. I found a new take-off set of y-pipes off an '09. I got everything apart and inspected and started to reassemble. Working ALL weekend, should finish up on Monday. Looks like I have the wiring update for the hand warmers! THANKS for all the info, this site ROCKS!!!!
