I have a 06 attak. I love the sled but want to raise my handlebars 2inches. I saw Rox sells a 2 inch riser, do I need the adaptor kit also? some people say I do and others say I dont. any help is appreciated.

Mounted my 2" Rox right to the existing riser. Adjusted cables so they wouldn't bind. No problems in 1500 miles.

What about a apex mountain riser bar? That would keep the clean look of OEM. I don't know how much taller the mtx riser is compared to yours though. Just a thought

The Apex Mountian riser is roughly an inch and a half taller than stock and bolts right in. The height is just about perfect and looks factory.
I believe the Part#'s are:
Riser - 8FS-2381B-00-00
Bolts - 8FS-23876-00-00
I placed 2" powermad riser under stock. Litttle notching and longer bots needed

get the rox with the adaptor kit, looks great, allows position of bars in all diretions & keeps the stock chrome ring near the tank. i'm 6' and i have to run it at the highest. huge improvment from stock set up.
especially if you like to stand and ride, you can move the bars forward more (where they should be !).
got mine thru richmotorsports.

Just added a 2" Rox pivot riser on top of my stock riser this weekend. No need for cable extensions. Now I have adjustability in the bars and can stand straight up. Can't wait to try it our this weekend.

Thanks for the replys. It sounds like I dont need to order the this :
Adapter Snowmobile block riser
Rox Apex Adapter block riser allows you to install Rox Pivoting Risers on 06 Yamaha Apex (short track) or Attack. When used with Rox 3 1/2" riser stock bars are positioned 1/2" higher than stock and can then be postioned further forward, back or anywhere in between. 2007 Models come stock with 1" higher block risers and 1" lower bars than the 2006 models. Therefore a 3 1/2" riser would actually lower your bars 1/2" and a 5" would place your bars 1" higher than stock on the 2007 Apex (short track) and Attack. Pivoting Risers sold separately.
All I need is the riser and I should be good to go?
