Its a great setup for me. Cornering on freshly groomed trails (not fully set up yet) or generally looser snow conditions the 1" is way down on traction though. Swapping back to back with an Apex ER with the Ripsaw (both with 144 Gold Diggers), the Ripsaw kept the back end of the sled in-line much better and provided higher cornering speeds.
Everywhere else, including acceleration in looser snow conditions, the 1" Predator works extremely well. Not once did my buddies Apex ER out accelerate me and on typical well set up trails there was no noticeable loss of cornering grip with the 1" Predator.
The 1" Predator is also quieter, smoother running, gets better gas mileage and is considered by Camoplast to be their most durable trail track. I plan to keep running this track and will likely eventually replace this one with the same.
For some reason I had ratcheting problems with my sled (with the 1" Predator) that forced me to run the track so tight the hyfax wore through at the rail curve.
Installing the Skidoo anti-ratchet drivers completely solved this and allows me to run the track literally as loose as you could ever want (even 3" of droop and it doesn't ratchet). I don't really see any advantage to these drivers unless your having ratching/hyfax wear at curve issues though. One minor negative is I think I noticed a slight increase to the track noise. Not enough to bother me, but as far as I'm concerned increased track noise generally means lower efficiency - but this is probably made up for being able to run the track a little looser.
Probably due to the track and running it loose (this is a guess though) I always got about 10% better fuel economy compared to the other Apex ERs I rode with. Except for the track and drivers, my drivetrain is 100% stock, including the 22/38 gears and clutching. The other Apex's are 100% stock (except for adding 144 studs).

I think the 07 flap is total crap. I have ran that thing over so many times, and never had a problem with my venture style flap.
In order to back up, you must have someone hold the flap up for you, or do it yourself by leaning back and trying to be an acrobat or something.
Im thinking of cutting mine shorter for next year at that little line. As of right now, the flap has stud marks and is twisted cuz it got caught so many times under the track.

Exact same thing for me - every time I backup I run over the flap on my 07 Attak. I'm cutting mine at the line.
