I know this isn't a 4-stroke but is it a possible scam. There's an '06 Viper Mtn. on e-bay for around $3650. (In North Carolina)
To the best of my recolection there were no Yamaha 2-strokes made in '06. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I am wrong to a point. I found that Yammi still made the Venom (er), and the Venture 600, but no mention of a Viper or Viper Mountain. So unless someone finds anything else out beware of this possible scam.

According to Yamaha's website, they did make it.
It's a little hard to find, but if you click on the model specifications for any '07 model and use the drop-down menu to compare that sled to another sled, 2006 SXViper Mountain is listed.
This link should show what I'm talking about.

I did see that, but when you make that selection it will not show a photo. It only shows photos for '05 and below. If you look at the '06 model year overview there's no Viper at all. Anyhow, I questioned the seller on e-bay and he replied that it is an '06 Viper Deep Snow Speacial.
I'm sure Yamaha probably had some left overs they got rid of in '06 that weren't part of the advertised line up, and thanks for helping me look.

The answer is YES, they did make the Viper Mountain for 2006. It was the last run of them with no changes from the 2005, so they were probably just leftover 05's labeled as '06's.
