Bought a used 07 APEX RTX last year (my first Yamaha) and after 400 miles the front inside idler wheels where completely chewed up. I replaced those wheels this fall and after riding 600 miles last weekend one is destroyed again. Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks for the help!
Are running studs?

What wheels are you using?
Look at the location of the studs, they probably line up with the rubber on your wheels. If you are running the track reasonably tight because of having studs, it will put alot of pressure on the front wheels. Also look for a loose stud in track.

I had the same problem with them wheels, This is what has worked for me, loosen the spring tension on the front shock of the suspension, pull the limitor strap up a hole. almost 4000 miles on this set of wheels so far and no damage. SMA-8FP38-01

If your talking about the two inside wheels near the front shock, I had to replace mine as well on the same sled, and was given the updated wheels which are supposedly cheaper, but were still 90 bucks for the pair.
The part # for the wheels I got in Canada is SMA-8HF38-01-BK.
