I am looking for first hand experience reports on the performance of the 07 EC Ohlins mono shock. I know the 06 had issues with leaky seals bottoming and wires breaking. I would like to hear if these issues have been resolved with the 07 shock.
I have over 10k hard miles on mine and no issues. Only problem I had was a broken wire on top.

My 07 had broken wires which I fixed and put 5 zip-ties to keep it from breaking again. My'06 blew its shock within 500 miles.

The 07 Apex GT has got the updated solenoid wire and the updated piston shaft seal.
Though, the spring and the damping is exactly the same as the 06 Apex GT (=very soft)...

I sent mine out to get revalved and heavier spring after first weekend riding. I'm 225lbs dressed. I have almost 2000 since and no problems at all.

07. 1100 miles no issues. Rides awesome through any moderate size stuff. Makes it totally disappear, like it aint even there. Has its limitations in bombed out, cratered up trails. Too slow and soft in stock form. Bottoms out frequently. Seems like a progressive rate spring could really improve it. I will be checking my options....
07 attak gt 2100 miles no problems.

my 07gt with Pioneer revalve and spring that he recommended for me works great in rough trail and in the big stuff. Hardly bottoms at all .
Well worth the $180.
