this is the same issue i have had for three seasons.I have a very annoying rattling noise comming from what seems to be the steering column, it seems to happen on and off acceleration or around 5000 rpm. I took sled apart last year to check out flex pipes and exaust donuts, checked out heat shield ,replaced donuts and to no avail, have same issue and maybe getting worse. Is anyone else having this issue and if so let me know what you found. Thank's

yes i have had the exact same problem...the rattling noise is coming from the tie rod ends that hook up to the steering column..i replace mine and now its perfectly quiet...the one joint that hooks up to the column take a rubber strip and punch a hole in it and install the strip over the end...pack some grease in there and it will last a long time..
