Started up my sled and heard a rattling noise. So I took off my seat and to get to the muffler wasn't the muffler sounds like its coming from the header pipe? Could if be the exhaust donuts? I have 2,600 miles on my 2008 Nytro

yup, @1900 miles on my RTX and changed mine out. They weren't leaking YET but, they never would have made it through this season.

That would be my guess too. my 09 xtx made it about 3200 miles before they were gone. If you have YES and a good relationship with your dealer, they will cover the replacement. When I took mine in they replaced all the exhaust gaskets from front to back. Just FYI.

Donuts
When guys are changing the donuts, are you guys replacing the gasket on the header also?? Just wondering, if that is going bad at the same time?? Thanks

The donuts they are referring too are the gaskets between the flex pipes and the y pipes/headers.
