07 Attak pushing bad in corners.

I don't disagree that spending $300-$400 on different skis will improve it, I just think the stock ski's are very adequate with the right carbide set up. Dirk hates everything about OEM stuff. LOL Tracks, skis, clutch kits, rear skids... The truth is that some of this stuff is better than stock, but most of it is not worth the cost incurred for the benefit you get from it. I have tried nearly every aftermarket trinket out there over the years, from ski's to rear suspensions and overall the stock stuff can work nearly as good if not better in some cases.

Get new skis and save yourself the aggravation. The keel on the stock skis is not agressive enough for this heavy powerful machine. tried everything to tune it last year straps, carbides, transfer bar, shims the works..... wasted lot of time and money....

put slydog powderhounds on with bergstrom triples and savers and she rails with 3/4 transfer and super light front springs....

you can sell your stock skis for 150 bucks on ebay..... thats what i got for mine with 1000 miles on them....

In my opinion if you havent removed the stock skis and tried a different set on this machine you dont know what you are missing.... It would be like going back to an 600 2-stroke.....

thanks guys........i think i'm headed in the right direction with the skid. I thinking about the usi x2 skis with shapers and bergstroms. the USI factory is 20 minutes from my house. Anyone tried these yet this year?

Fact one is I don't hate everything stock.

Fact two I do hate the Ripsaw, Stock Skis, and the Clutching. All Are very average and can be improved with updates.

Fact three the Mono Shock is the plushest skids I ever road. I did take the No Action out of My RX-1 and installed an Expert X and it was a close second to ride to my Mono after I got the shocks done by Aaron at Excell

Fact four You your going to spend 100.00 for a set of good Carbides which are going to wear out and need to be replaced I say bite the bullet and spend the extra cash up front on a good set of skis. Three sets of Berstrom triple points add up to a set of Razors which will never wear out and will go with you from sled to sled.
