Temp warning light coming on intermittently. Engine not overheating. Anyone with similiar problem? Suspect electrical problem, short or bad sensor. Any ideas appreicated. Sled has 1200 miles problem just started. At dealer now. Thanks

Why are you saying it's not overheating?
Maybe air in the line?
Best would be to install water temperature gauge, that way you would know exactly what temperature is at.

Have you changed your anit-freeze? If not, I agree it might be air in the line.

No indications of overheating. No coolant loss, no steam,no auto shutdown. temp gauge would be good idea. But Yamaha should add that function to pod IMO. Thanks for reply.

Check to see if you have an ice build up blocking the front heat exchanger. This has happened to me on a couple different occassions.
