what rpm are you seeing? I think the limiter is 12500 on the phazer, you want however like 11200-11500 to be full out.

Is it acting like its on 'limp mode' ?

I never had the issue before the exhaust know i do? I suppose its breathing better and thats putting me over the top? What would be a quick easy solution to bringing the rpm's down sense i already have a clutch kit?

It's fine until i really crank on it, then it cuts out pretty good then if i am still on it hard goes cuts a little and so on and so forth.
You need to add wieght to your primary. You want to see about 11500 rpm. When I was messing with exhausts I was constantly having to change the clutching.Thats good because it shows you are making power but it is a bit of work.

did you adjust the secondary at all? may be something as simple as moving the spring.
there is a write up in another post thats shows the degrees for the spring. or just give ulmer a shout.
otherwise it's more weight on the primary like cannon said.

I have seen over 12000 rpm's, how high after that i don't know for sure. I haven't messed with the secondary at all, just a clutch kit on the primary. Anyone have a link to the post about the degree of the secondary?
I think I must be hitting the rev limiter then, just want to make sure I can still ride it with out hurting it until i get the problem taken care of?

Well thanks for the offer, might take ya up on it if I cant do it my self, but I should be able too. I can't remember if ulmer has you mess with the secondary at all when you get there clutch kit or not, its been a while sense I installed and can't remember for sure. Was wondering if I should mess with that first or the rivets on the primary? Need some suggestions!
You will end up doing both or just add rivets.
