I need to know the shock eye to eye measurements for the front shock in the rear skid of an 07 FX. I need the center to center distance between the shock eyes withe the shock fully compressed and fully extended..
Thanks in advance!

FYI: I have found the shock meas for the center shock on the 07 FX
13" c-c extended with a 3" stroke, this also happens to be the same as the center shock on the 03 RX1 (to my surprise).
I have installed the RX1 shock and spring in my FX and will be posting the results. The RX1 spring in the same dia wire, but it is wound for a multi rate (initial rate is softer)

FYI: 2003 RX1 center shock and spring work quite well on FX! Studder bumps and big hits both are well dampened and the multi rate spring seems to work well also. The shock body and rod are both quite a bit larger and more rugged than the stock FX shock.

do you think you could change out just the spring and get good results?
I have a center shock from an RX-1, but am wondering about using just the spring?

Viper center shock also fits.

I have not tried the RX1 spring with the phazer shock. My Phazer shock was rebounding too fast so i tried the RX shock. The ride with the RX shock and spring is a little stiff on the small stuff, but it is pretty good on the big hits.

I'll put the spring on the phaze shock and report back - might be next season - I think schmidt bros had a stiffer shock as well.
things that make you go hmmmmm

I used stock,Viper and viper with HyGear dual springs in center and I couldnt tell any difference with any of those combos.Rear shock makes HUGE difference.
