has anybody with an 07 phazer had water pump problems. the engine light comes on with excessive hard trail ridding. just started last ride in good trail conditions.

Just a hunch, check that the fan is pulling air front to back, if it's running at all. Heat exchanger icing is sometimes an issue.

TY 4 Stroke Master
I added a FrogzSkin vent to the lower part of rad cover, havent seen temp light since.
I also had an insanely dirty and damaged secondary clutch that was adding to the heat problems.
