07 Vector Mountain SE

Basically a good idea but needs rider forward, major weight loss and more power. Buddy has one it's just not quite there. Spend the extra and get an Apex.

Good sled but like M5 said, needs some weight loss and power. Its a great sled with torque, but the extra money on an apex is worth it for the HP and rider forward.

Well, I would have gone for the Apex but I just couldnt afford the extra cash for it...:S

Keep in mind I've ridden a snowmobile once before very briefly so this is going to be my first snowmobile ever...lol

First off, welcome to the forum.

I don't have a lot for you either but I will tell you to just get out and ride. As you gain valuable experieince you'll learn what you need and don't need.

Don't worry, you picked the right sled for your situation. You're learning for crying out loud. You don't need an Apex just yet. You may want something with a larger engine at some point but 120 hp is nothing to sneeze at for a new guy.

The sled is set up very well from the factory. Ride it, enjoy it and be happy you bought a Yamaha that will last as long (ok, longer) than you will want to ride it.
