I know this thread is alot about boosted and modifed sleds, but who has a stock suspension etc and are loving their nytro in the deep snow (not climbing) I trimmed my track to 1 3/4" and sucked up the limiter strap 2 holes and saving alot on they hyfax wear. When I bought my nytro there was not an XTX (08) but would those that are in the same boat as me buy an XTX or stay with the MTX for mostly boondocking? The more I start to learn about the MTX as they have progressed, man were the 08 MTX was brutal, basic, OLD rear suspension. What are you guys setting up for OEM rears? (on the 08-09 susp)

To tell you the truth i didn't totally hate my stock suspension, until i replaced it.(A quick rear mod is swapping out the rear helper springs for heavy apex ones, and fooling with the strap to get the weight off the skis in the deep.) The difference was like night and day! I spend the majority of my time boondocking and right now i have a stock engine. But that will change. I find that the nytro needs sum extra "fire"(especially in the mountains). I rode a turbo last year and i can just imagine how much more fun this sled can be.
