Here's my other sled, I just bought it for dirt cheap and am slowly learning all the kinks of this thing.

Things I know about the sled.
It WAS an 08 FX Nytro and the guy I bought it from swapped in a CE 174 and I have no idea what suspension it has, doesn't look stock
The front end has the swaybar deleted and Fox Floats with Simmons Gen3 flexiskis
The turbo has identical measurements (compressor wheel/etc) to the PTE 5431B turbo which would be a 450hp capable turbo
There is a big fuel pump mounted near the battery
There is a big AFPR below the steering assy in the front
There is NO intercooler, just a straight pipe from the turbo that snakes through to the plenum
There is a boondockers fuel rail with injectors of an unknown size
There is a BOV mounted to the plenum of unknown manufacture
There is a boondockers control box (turbo nytro) with nitrous controls
There is a launch control system from impulse
The primary clutch is stock and secondary has a shockwave helix
There is a turboXS boost controller
Head is shimmed and ARP studs installed (so i was told)

Now for the stuff I don't know.
I have no idea if this is a kit, or a custom turbo setup
I don't know about the secondary injectors size
I don't know the suggested settings for the boondocker

I have lots of play time ahead of me figuring out the ins and outs of this thing. My first ride was very revealing. I didn't want to boost higher than 20psi for fear of damaging rods/pistons so I turned the boost controller down to minimum for a baseline. The sled rocketed past 20psi, which was about the time I let go of the throttle. The snow melting on the track/exhaust was evaporating and travelling up the tunnel dump exhaust and caused the wastegate to seize in place. I had to cut the arm and remove it (couple hours of heating and beating), ream out the hole, reinstall and re-weld the cut part. It works fine now and is controlling boost nicely. Another scary thing has been the AFR's. They were reading 14/15:1 under boost, but the sled ran and felt pretty solid, I didn't hear or notice any signs of detonation. I adjusted the boondocker and got the AFR's down to a normal level for boost (11:1ish) and the sled is just a bog monster. I'll just have to keep tweaking it till I figure it all out. I still need to do a boost leak test.

One step at a time I guess.

Not positive but ur skid looks to be a mtn tamer made by timbersled and it looks like it's gonna need a little work but it's perfect timing with no snow.

Yeah, I'm not sure what skid it is. It's not the 2012 mountain tamer, I know that much. I don't know what the older ones looked like, never seen one before. I'm just trying to dial in the boost and boondocker settings before I even leave the yard with it. I finally got the initial settings from Boondockers and the sled is running much better it seems. I'll have to start adding fuel up top. At 10 psi I'm knocking near redline on C12. I'd like to be able to run 15psi so, we'll see how the tuning goes.

Well, I typically ride with temps right around 0F and with all that snow spraying onto the charge pipe, I'd imagine that would cool it decently. I'll keep my eyes open for knock, and possibly install a tunnel mounted intercooler, or a front mount.

I will be interest to hear how it works out. I built a turbo setup on my nytro with no intercooler. I would like to run around 10-12 PSI once I upgrade the fuel system. I was hoping to not need a intercooler. It spools so fast right now.

That sled is going to be fun, keep us posted on how it works out.

Could be, I just went off of what the guy told me. For all I know he could have bought this sled and sold it a month later. What ever the case may be, it's mine now, so I'll just have to play with it and go from there.
