08 FX Nytro wont start (starter turns wont crank engine)

Well yesterday after a nice long ride went to start the sled at the trailer and all the starter would do was crank but it would not crank the engine, what do you guys think?? starter or starter clutch I did not hear any evidence of the clutch or gear failure just no engine cranking BUT start sounds line it is spinning, also checked the relay no issue there.
