so I went to change the right front spindle on the sled because my buddy bent it. the new one from yamaha is different. the tie rod bolts in farther to the out side of the ski. was there an update on the spindles?

2008 and 2009 are different
i looked up the part number that was on the factory package it came up as an 08. But it is def different than what’s on the sled

Maybe a mountain spindle is different. Just tossing out ideas.

If you look straight down at the spindles that are on the sled. All your mounting points are basically centers and in line with each other. And the area where the tie rod mounts is like a wife flange.
the spindle they sent him if you look straight down the tie rod mounting point is farther to the outside and not inline with the rest. And the mounting point is very narrow
